This Privacy Policy sets out the manner in which Brizi collects, uses, discloses and otherwise manages your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to the privacy practices of any Brizi hosted website located at (our “Website”), any Brizi-operated events, event websites on auxiliary domains, including but not limited to,, (“Event Website”), servers associated with those Event Websites, and your use of the BriziCam and software services at those events (collectively the “Services”). Your attendance at a live event (“Event”) may also be governed by any privacy policy of the Event hosts and organizers.


Consent: By visiting our Website or Event Website, using our Services, sharing content including photographs generated through our Event Website to Social Media, or by contacting us, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.  You may withdraw your consent to our processing of your Personal Information at any time.  If you choose to withdraw consent, you will not be able to use the Event Website and its Services.

Personal Information: The term “personal information” refers to the information we collect in order to create a personalized experience for you. It is information about an identifiable individual, including name, email address, photographs, social media account information, location, and other information relating to an individual at an Event (“Personal Information”). We or our partners and clients may collect Personal Information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy when you:

  • Access or use the BriziCam or its Services at an Event;
  • Share your content created through BriziCam to social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter (“Social Media”);
  • Contact us through our Website or otherwise.

We also may receive Personal Information from our business partners and other third parties, provided that such third parties confirm to us that their use of the Personal Information conforms to applicable privacy laws.

Non-Personal Information: The term “non-personal information” refers to anonymous information that is not linked to an identifiable individual, such as an Internet Protocol Address (IP Address), or the type and version of browser or operating system being used. Aggregate information, such as demographic statistics of our users (e.g. average age or geographical allocation of our users), number of visitors, what pages users access or visit, is also considered Non-Personal Information.

Our web servers may automatically collect Non-Personal Information which is provided through your browser or stored on a Cookie. Non-Personal Information is collected or derived by us in the course of operating the Event Website and the Services to provide better experiences for Event attendees in the future.

BriziCam at Events: When you use BriziCam at an Event, Brizi collects the following Personal Information in order to provide you with the Services: name, Event, seat location, and photographs you take using the BriziCam. Through your ticket purchase and entry to the Event venue, you have consented to photos and videos of your likeness at the event being used subsequently for any reasons, or as noted in the image release disclaimer or waiver used by the Event organizer. Brizi is a third-party partner of the Event organizer, meaning your image may be triggered while photographs are taken at the Event. Images are triggered when you or other Event attendees seated near you connect to the Event Website and use the Event Website to control BriziCam cameras located at the Event to take pictures. These images are delivered back to you for your enjoyment, and may also be used and displayed for marketing and promotional purposes, including publishing your photos on the Brizi Website to promote the Brizi Services. For additional information on how these images may be used please contact us directly. If inquiring about how images will be used for a particular Event, please contact us directly, specifying the Event name. If you prefer, we invite you to directly request the removal of certain images that contain your Personal Information from Event Websites that we control by contacting us via the information below.

Social Media: When you share your photo or video content on or through third-party Social Media applications, you may have the option of allowing us to access certain information associated with your Social Media account (e.g., name, username, email address, profile picture, etc.…). When you provide information to us and our partners from your Social Media account, we may use this information to personalize your experience on the Event Website, and to provide you with relevant advertising and promotions for products or services.

Contact Us: When you contact us with a comment, question or complaint, you may be asked for information that identifies you (such as your name, address and a telephone number) along with additional information we need to help us promptly answer your question or respond to your comment. We may also retain this information to assist you in the future and to improve our customer service, product and service offerings, and events and promotions.

Additional Use of Personal Information: Further to the above-mentioned uses, we may use your Personal Information collected through the Event Website, Social Media, and your contact with us to analyze and improve the performance of our products and services.


We will not disclose, trade, rent, sell or otherwise transfer your Personal Information, without your consent, except as otherwise set out herein.

Third Party Partners: We may transfer (or otherwise make available) your Personal Information to third parties who are associated with the Event you are attending, such as the Event hosts, sponsors, or prospective sponsors. Your Personal Information may be used for the purposes of facilitating promotional and marketing activities related to the Event you are participating in.

Storage and Processing: Your Personal Information is securely encrypted and maintained or processed within or geographically near the legal jurisdiction where the physical Event is taking place. Our service providers are not authorized to use or disclose Personal Information that has not been previously consented to for their own marketing or other purposes. By using the Services, you agree that your Personal Information may be processed and stored in the local jurisdiction where it may be accessible to local government agents and law enforcement under lawful access laws.

Other Third Parties: We may use data and statistics generated from the Personal Information we collect from Event Websites, Social Media, and our contact with you to promote our products and services to other third parties. In such cases, all personally identifiable information will be anonymized prior to its disclosure to the third parties.

Sale of Business: We may transfer any information we have about you as an asset in connection with a merger or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of Brizi or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control.

Legal and Compliance: Brizi and our service providers may provide your Personal Information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable Canadian, U.S. or other law. We may also disclose Personal Information where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and to investigate or prevent actual or suspected loss or harm to persons or property.


Visiting our Website: In general, you can visit our websites without telling us who you are or submitting any Personal Information. However, we collect Non-Personal Information to help us understand our website activity, and to monitor and improve our websites.

Cookies: We use cookies on the pages on our websites where you are prompted to log in or that are customizable. These cookies may let us know who you are and will provide us and our service providers with information (such as your language choice) that we use to personalize our websites in accordance with your preferences. The linked websites have separate and independent privacy statements, notices and terms of use, which we recommend you read carefully. We do not have any control over such websites, and therefore we have no responsibility or liability for the manner in which the organizations that operate such linked websites may collect, use or disclose, secure and otherwise treat your Personal Information.


The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of Personal Information in our custody and control. We have Personal Information retention processes designed to retain Personal Information for no longer than necessary for the purposes stated above or to otherwise meet legal requirements.

Our servers are located in Canada and the United States and accordingly your Personal Information may be available to government agencies and/or law enforcement in those countries under a lawful order, irrespective of the safeguards We have put in place for the protection of your Personal Information. By using our Website and Services, you consent to the hosting of your Personal Information in Canada and the United States in accordance with applicable laws. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide you with at least 30 days’ notice of any such changes in the processing location.


You have the right to access, update, and correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information in our custody and control, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law. Brizi generally processes Personal Information in order to fulfill contracts we have with our customers, the Event organizers, as well as Event attendees, including our Terms of Service, and to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Otherwise, Brizi will obtain consent from an individual in respect of processing of Personal Information if required by law to do so.

Further, individuals located in the EEA have certain rights under European law (including under the General Data Protection Regulation) with respect to Personal Information, including the right to request access to, obtain, correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your personal data. Individuals located in to the EEA who wish to exercise these rights, should contact Brizi using the contact information below. Individuals who wish to exercise rights in respect of Personal Information collected by the Event host or organizer should get in contact with the Event host or organizer first. Individuals also have the right to make complaints to regulatory authorities in respect of our privacy practices.


This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes to our Personal Information practices. If we find it necessary or desirable to change our Privacy Policy in the future, we will post an appropriate notice on the Website ( Any change to this Privacy Policy will become effective thirty (30) days following the date the change is posted and will apply to information collected from the date of the posting of the revised privacy policy and to existing information we have. The date on which the latest update was made is indicated at the bottom of this document. We recommend that you print a copy of this privacy policy for your reference and revisit this policy from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes. Your continued use of the Website, Event Website, and/or Services signifies your acceptance of any changes to this policy.
